Who we are

  It all started because our son is an absolute veggie monster. The amount of  organic greens consumed on a daily basis started to become very unsustainable. We decided to grow microgreens because the crop matures quickly ( so we could keep up with the consumption) and they are super nutrient dense. We realized that we enjoy growing these amazing little greens so much, and we have a desire to educate others about the benefits of natural nutrition. With Shantelle's background in Holistic Nutrition,  Elk River Microgreens was instantly born.  

We love microgreens because their PACKED with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. We're passionate about food, where it comes from, how it's grown and prepared and especially how it impacts our health. What better way to literally feed that passion than to grow your own food and share it with others. We hope you enjoy our micros as much as we do.
